Framed by beautiful apple and pear trees and spectacular views of Mt. Hood, 50-acre Mt. View Orchards was a tranquil setting for this bride and groom to exchange vows. Even an overcast day didn’t put a damper on the celebration with it’s navy-blue hues that mirrored the surrounding landscape.
Our bride chose a mermaid-style dress, with lace detailing and a nude colored belt. Along with her ladies she carried a full bouquet of white anemones, navy accents and lush greens.
The reception, held in the expansive open pavilion, was spotted with the apples and pears from the venue’s fruit stand. At the bar, guests enjoyed fresh apple cider from the apples grown right there in the orchards. The bride and groom kept with the fruit theme by having a pie bar, with many different variations of the dessert to share with their guests.
