Even though our couple lives in California, they were able to have a stunning, one of a kind, Northwest wedding with the help of their friends and family.
They tied the knot at the Camano Island Waterfront Inn, which offered a magnificent backdrop for their ceremony. With breathtaking views of the Puget Sound, groomed gardens and ambient lighting it was truly the perfect intimate outdoor venue for this June wedding.
The bride and groom shared their vows in front of the Moongate, traditionally said to bring good luck for newlyweds who walk through the gates after getting married.
Our bride was striking in a ball gown with a full tulle skirt, and gorgeous details like a sweetheart neckline and beading on the corset bodice. She added touches of simple beauty with a sweeping veil and a delicate updo. The groom was striking in a true tuxedo, complete with a black bow tie.
After the intimate ceremony the party moved to the bride’s Aunts backyard, which had been transformed into an incredible reception site. There was a chandelier in the trees and lanterns lined the driveway to welcome guests to this amazing property. They had fun personal touches like a fire pit to make smores, mugs with Camano Island coffee as their favors, a candy bar, and a bus that also acted as a portable bar. Talk about backyard wedding at its finest!
